Mare rejoins the Goodfaith organization after serving as the Associate Director for Pastoral Services at RENEW International for several years. She previously worked at Goodfaith from 2016-2020 after spending nearly 12 years working in various student affairs related offices in university settings.

Thanks to some nudging from the Holy Spirit, she is happy to be back “home” at Goodfaith in the role of Director of Programs.

Mare has seen first hand the transformational experiences that program participants have during their immersion weeks or retreats with Goodfaith. She is looking forward to helping advance the mission of the organization through programs and new initiatives.

Mare believes there is no cost to being kind and that kindness to our neighbor is how Jesus wants us to live our lives. A quote she often reflects on is, “Sooner or later we all discover that kindness is the only strength there is.” Fr. Greg Boyle

Mare received her BA degree in psychology and multicultural studies as well as an MA and EdS in community counseling from Rider University. She lives in NJ with her husband and two rescue dogs, Justice and Gracie. In her free time she enjoys being outside, especially near water and volunteering as a therapy team with Justice.
